I have been a Christian for 60 years, a conservative for 45 years, and an educator (a public school teacher, administrator, and university professor) for 42 years. I watched all the levels of our educational system deteriorate as they were taken over by enemies of Christian values. I watched our churches embrace the "liberal" agenda of the World Council of Churches, the Socialist Internationale, and the United Nations. I watched the moral and spiritual tenets of the Bible get trashed in our culture. I watched America degenerate from a Christian country to a pagan land in my lifetime.

Recently I have learned from Dr. Stanley Monteith, host of “Radio Liberty,” ¹ about the Luciferian roots of this remarkable transformation and that it has occurred with the financial and philosophical assistance of the wealthy and powerful leaders of the movement into a New World Order and a one-world ecumenical religion. The people at the highest levels of this entire political and social plot will welcome the Antichrist as their Messiah.

If we expect to have God ever “heal our land” as it states in II Chronicles 7:14, the verse states that we must be “a people called by God’s name.” A half century ago everyone knew that the United States was “a people called by God’s name” because we were a CHRIST-ian nation. But this is no longer true. It was true for 150 years and God blessed us until church leaders abandoned the struggle against Satan and ceded control of education and the government to God’s enemy. Then America started losing the struggle between good and evil.

How did it happen? Most critics say ministers were intimidated by Supreme Court decisions and the threat of losing their tax-exempt status and also losing members who wanted them to stay out of politics. They became politically neutral because they feared such things more than they feared God. But I think the primary reason was false doctrine that they were taught. Liberal professors and apostate textbooks infiltrated Catholic and Protestant seminaries and the institutions of higher learning. They taught that there is a wall of separation between Church and State and that our country was never a Christian nation. They reinterpreted many scriptures to convince students that a Christian culture is not part of the church’s mission.

Then, very cleverly, the radical left politicized the culture, as Judge Robert Bork explains in his book, Slouching Toward Gomorrah. ² Very quickly, churches that would not take stands on political issues became impotent in the battle to preserve a Christian culture. Christians are still the largest voting block in America, but Satan won a monumental victory because most of his enemies were removed from the fight against him in this “culture war.”

Most churches abandoned the whole socio-political arena, giving the control of America over to Satan’s helpers: pagans, atheists, humanists, New Agers, occultists, spiritualists, and secret societies like the Theosophists and Masons. The “Elect” (never “elected”) leaders of most of those groups call him “Lucifer,” “The Light,” “The Great Architect of the Universe” or other titles that are exactly opposite to his true nature. But most members of those groups are kept ignorant of the dark spiritual leadership they are following. They think they are privy to some marvelous secret of the ages. The truth behind that secret is only found in esoteric literature. ³ If most of Satan’s helpers knew who they were following they would be terrified.

Pastors are not taught about Satan’s political and social agenda, so they unwittingly and silently consent to and become accomplices in all his wicked schemes. What little we learn about Satan is that Christ has won the battle for us and we individual sinners simply need to resist temptations - or ask forgiveness when we fail! With this comforting gospel we need not do anything about the evil programs of our government or our degenerating culture. We can “leave the soul of our nation” to its leaders. That is what Hitler said after the brave Lutheran pastor, Martin Neimoeller, challenged him. The German church leaders followed Hitler’s direction and did what American churches do: “They kept their religion and their politics strictly separate … and minded their own business,” while Der Fuehrer imprisoned and executed eighteen million citizens, and Germany was led to destruction. ⁴ Hitler kept The Secret Doctrine, written by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, by his bedside. The top “secret” in the “doctrine” is that “Satan, the Serpent of Genesis…[is]…the real creator and benefactor, the Father of Spiritual mankind … the ‘Harbinger of Light,’ bright radiant Lucifer.” ⁵

Misuses of Holy Writ have caused the modern church to avoid involvement in the political, moral, and spiritual problems of the nation. Here are the main points in their rationale:

1. The early church was not involved in politics.
2. Romans 13 tells us to obey government officials, whom God ordained.
3. Christ told his disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
4. God is in control of everything, including Satan.

I will address each item in turn, although they overlap.

Reason 1. The early church was not involved in politics because Rome was a dictatorship, not a Constitutional Republic. In America our rights come from God instead of from government leaders. Here Christians have a moral obligation to be involved in electing godly leaders and holding them accountable to make laws in accordance with God’s law. When the Church held that belief, the United States was the greatest nation on earth. When the Church was taught otherwise, it ceded control to the followers of Satan. It started preaching a gospel of comfort instead of responsibility for what was happening in the world. Pulpits were no longer “aflame with righteousness.” They had lost what Alexis de Tocqueville had assessed as the cause of America’s greatness, namely, sermons that made America “good.” ⁶

Reason 2. Romans 13 tells us to obey government officials whom God ordained. Certainly, we must obey all the laws that do not disagree with God’s law. But Saint Paul addressed that epistle “to all that be in Rome,” and there is no similarity between that tyrannical government in the first century and the elected representative government of America.

The word “ordained” used by Paul in that context means that God gives leaders authority to rule and we should obey them. It is being misinterpreted to mean that if we elect wicked leaders, God has chosen them! Does the God we worship promote worldwide abortion, homosexuality, fornication (distributing condoms even to children!), pornography, and genocide? He allows wicked leaders to sponsor such things, but they are certainly not things that He wants. He surely wants Christians to stop those evil things in a country where the people elect their own rulers.
With the same flawed argument using Romans 13, the church considers the government’s doctrine of “the separation of church and state” almost sacrosanct. That doctrine is a bold-faced lie that was imported from the Russian Constitution by Masonic Justices who wanted to stop America from being a Christian nation, and they have succeeded. The Supreme Court used that doctrine to keep churches out of politics - nullifying the First Amendment, the intent of our Founding Fathers, and 150 years of legal precedent. Congress, with a simple majority vote and the support of the President could invalidate that decision and restore the right of free religious expression by invoking Article III, Section 2 of the Constitution, which can limit the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court on that issue. But I do not know of a church that will ask their politicians to do that. They have bought the oft-repeated lie that this doctrine is in our Constitution.

Reason 3. Christ told his disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel. The Apostle Paul told us to put on the full armor of God and stand against the wiles of the devil. The church has made Christ’s last words its only mission. It has ignored the work of Satan for fifty years, which allowed the devil to take control of America and capture millions of souls. For the church to simply lead more people to Christ, without teaching them to fight Satan, does nothing to weaken the devil’s hold on the country.

To build God’s kingdom by spreading the gospel to the world is a correct major mission of the church but it has come to completely exclude the important work of keeping America a Christian nation. Pastors have been taught that America never was a Christian nation because a majority of its population was probably never Christian. But the population alone does not make a nation. A nation also comprises its Constitution, its government, leadership, laws, language, customs, and independence - all of which have been totally ignored and neglected by the modern church. John Chalfant censoriously portrays that negligence in Abandonment Theology. ⁷

Patriotic Christians who work hard to try to save America’s hard-won independence, her Constitution and her Christian heritage, have been considered provincial, isolationist, selfish and unbiblical by church leaders ever since the 1960s. Pastors overlook the fact that God himself created nations at the Tower of Babel to prevent man from building a one-world government. In the books Biblical Demonology and The New Unger’s Bible Dictionary Merrill F. Unger states that Satan is behind all attempts to remove nationhood and create a world government for his disciple, the Antichrist. ⁸ This is Satan’s age-old battle against God.

The church should be in the battle against this program of Satan, which our country is now implementing at an alarming rate as a sign of the times. Revelation states that the rulers “will agree to give their power and strength unto the beast.” ⁹ Our “power and strength” has been given to the United Nations. Verse 17 says ten rulers “will give their kingdoms.” ¹⁰ Our nation’s sovereignty will soon be given to the UN, unless we can get America out of this satanic conspiracy. Everyone says “there is no conspiracy” because the devil’s helpers have successfully blinded most people to it by methods they acquired from their father, the Father of Lies, the Prince of Darkness.

Reason 4. God is in control of everything, including Satan’s activities. To accept that interpretation of sovereignty would mean that God is responsible for Satan’s demonic acts. I believe God gave Satan free will as He did for mankind. Otherwise Christ would not have called him “the prince of this world.” (John 14:30) Millions of Christians are kept out of the spiritual battle against Satan by thinking that God is in charge of Satan’s activities. Their abject apathy to evil results from many false ideas related to that concept. Here are some common ones that I have put briefly into one paragraph:

(a) Satan has been defeated at the Cross and he will not bother us any more - so why fight him? (b) We know how the story ends, so we have no responsibility to help it along. (c) The battle between God and Satan is being fought in the spiritual realm and Christ has won it for us, so God does not need our help fighting Satan’s evils on earth. (d) We need not fret about the evils we see all around us in these latter days, because God prophesied them, which implies that He really wants them to happen, so people are foolish to oppose them.

Those statements all represent an unstated subconscious misconception that to oppose Satan is really to oppose God! Here is a personal example: A pastor once accusingly asked me, “Don’t you want to see the Lord return?” I had been telling him about the goals the United Nations published unashamedly in its Biodiversity Assessment Report ¹¹ (the basis of its “Wild Lands Project”) - viz., to reduce the world’s population from 6 billion to 2 billion or less; to take three-fourths of Mother Earth’s land away from man and return it to its primordial condition in order to restore the biodiversity of animate and inanimate “beings;” and to permit man to use and live only on the remaining one-fourth under strict environmental control by the United Nations. The implication of the pastor’s question was that opposing this horror would be trying to postpone God’s end-time prophecy!

I am not a theologian, but I find NO GOOD REASON in the church’s rationale for having given America over to Satan on a gold platter. Our country is now on the brink of disaster. The Lord despises the sinful behavior, the shameful laws of our land, and the anti-Christian agenda of the United Nations that our leaders and the controlled press carefully conceal from us. America is accomplishing the devil’s long-range goal and she is now ripe for God’s wrathful judgment on a nation that has forsaken Him as badly as we have. Will God use the United Nations as His means of “judging” us? The one-world-ers are teaching us to fear “terrorism” while they quietly pound the last nails in America’s coffin via international taxation for the UN, ¹² and a Western Hemisphere union that the President initiated in Quebec City and is implementing. ¹³

The Apostle Paul told us to clothe ourselves in God’s armor and “wrestle against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:11-12). These words refer to the dark powers, which are behind all the cultural and political evils we see. Many Christians will not “wrestle” against them without strong church leadership, which they do not have. So, very few people are trying to stop any part of our moral meltdown or to stop America from building a world empire for the United Nations.

In his book, The Inferno, Dante noted: “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in a time of moral crisis, maintain a position of neutrality.” Now is surely such a time of moral crisis, and the churches here and abroad remain neutral. They did not rise up to stop governments from murdering 110 million people in Germany, Russia, and China alone since 1917.

The killing continues unabated. In Rwanda, Muslim government goon squads chopped 800,000 Christians to death in 1994. ¹⁴ In the Sudan, the Muslim government has killed two million people in the Christian southern part of the country in the last ten years. The United States and United Nations refused to allow either of those terrorist genocides to be stopped. ¹⁵ America did nothing to stop any terrorism before 09-11-01. And the same thing is continuing today in Indonesia, the Philippines, the Holy Land, and many other places.

How do our churches respond to all that slaughter? Some sympathize and give aid to survivors. But did churches protest to any government to stop them? They tell us “God is in charge,” “our leaders know what they are doing,” and “the church must stay out of ‘politics.’” They also tell their members that the Lord will return and they will avoid what millions of others - who had that same hope - did NOT avoid.

If Satan acquires a world government to use before the Antichrist reveals himself or before the Lord returns, BILLIONS more people will be killed by means of: execution, abortion, euthanasia; AIDS, smallpox, anthrax and other plagues; poison chemicals and laboratory germs implanted in air, water, vaccines, drugs, and foods; world-wide famines; bank rejection of individual “Smart Cards” or implanted chips for food purchases; economic collapse; and nuclear destruction of noncompliant countries. The Bible prophesies most of those things. Jacques Cousteau wrote in The UNESCO Courier that 350,000 people per day must be killed to save the planet. ¹⁶ The UN will have the power and desire to do that and much more - but not for its expressed purpose of saving the planet for the people!

Ironically, but perhaps not incidentally, several Muslim governments are the last holdouts against the United Nations. America is now breaking down their resistance and will turn them over to the UN - as it is doing in Afghanistan. Satan is about to fulfill his dream of the “New World Order,” with the United States doing most of the work for him. That “Novus Ordo Seclorum” on the back of your dollar bill is supposed to be America’s destiny. ¹⁷

God gave us the spiritual and political power to keep America a great lighthouse for Him. We did that for 150 years. Then we relinquished her to Satan. The Lord could still stalemate Satan’s conspiracy if we got America out of it - letting Europe and Communist countries try to go it alone. But, with the deep entrenchment of our leaders in that program, and the enormity of the United Nations organization, God must do it, which probably cannot happen unless millions of Christians repent, call on Him and get back on His side in this battle.

God will not prevent Satan’s planned destruction of America without the diligent and passionate help of the Body of Christ. This requires a very Great Awakening. A repentant Church could lead the way back the same as Jonah did for Nineveh. Pastors could warn the people of the terrible disaster they face if they do not repent. Then everyone could embrace the promise of II Chronicles 7:14 and pray earnestly for God to “heal their land.”

When Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem, he told the Jews to rebuild the walls of their city while defending themselves from their enemies. We must do the same. Pastors must “walk the point” to inspire Christian soldiers to restore their Christian nation and fight against the kingdom of the devil while they are working for the Kingdom of God. Otherwise, the America we love will be destroyed, our own freedom will disappear, and earthly life will end tragically for vast multitudes of victims in a 21st century holocaust.
